Poket Rewards App

CHALLENGES
The initial version of the consumer app was outdated in terms of design appeal, functionality. performance and was not user-friendly for the current users as they were not able to navigate the app easily.

UX/RE-DESIGN PROCESS
I conducted mobile usability testing with two primary merchants and 5 walk-in customers that resulted in uncovering key app UI issues, usage roadblocks such as findability, inappropriate navigation and brand perception of the users. After summarising a core set of insights, I proceed on to design high fidelity UI design screens which I used to discuss internally with the dev team on refining the app flow based on specific data functionalities and requirements.

KPI
The final deliverables resulted in re-launching the new iteration of the Poket consumer app with a new UI that features a more organised way to group key app features, simplifying the userflows and provided various on-boarding and off-state user screens to better guide the new users and ease the task of the existing users. I had also managed to launch a beta paypal payment module for the merchants to sell their offerings within the app.
